TV Girl — Grapes Upon The Vine

Black Vinyl LP

On their fourth full-length album, TV Girl takes a bold and unexpected turn with Grapes Upon The Vine, swapping their trademark vintage-sample, lo-fi pop aesthetic for a cleaner, piano-heavy sound laced with gospel influences. The result is their most spiritually curious and sonically expansive work to date.

While TV Girl has always carried an undercurrent of existential reflection — especially on Death Of A Party Girl — this album places those themes front and center, with tracks like “Higher Ground,” “Big Black Void” and “Heaven Over Our Heads” diving deep into questions of purpose, mortality, and transcendence. Lush with soulful vocal samples and introspective storytelling, Grapes Upon The Vine is both a sonic departure and a natural evolution for a band that continues to surprise.
